Vantresa is a hands-on leader who spends much of her time at client sites, building client relationships, and facilitating solutions to address some of government’s stickiest operational challenges. Vantresa served more than 25 years in engineering and information technology leadership positions within the federal government, intelligence community, and private industry. She brings diverse expertise across systems engineering, business process re-engineering, management, change and innovation management, and program and acquisition management to her role at Decisions Oriented.
Prior to launching Decisions Oriented, Vantresa led numerous government initiatives by directing, budgeting, and implementing critical enterprise and engineering systems. She earned a reputation for harnessing cutting-edge and advanced technologies to assist clients in establishing innovative enterprise systems that solved their most complex technical challenges and mission critical problems. Over her expansive career, Vantresa has directed the design, development, and implementation of multiple IT modernization initiatives, as well as large-scale system development and integration programs.
As a public servant for 17 years, Vantresa held several key positions within the U.S. Postal Service where she was responsible for a number of national engineering, IT, and e-transacting initiatives. Her accomplishments include the automation of flat mail sorting, institutionalization of standardized intelligent mail scanning technology, and the patented USPS Click-n-Ship web shipping application – the first web shipping application with printable electronic postage.
